Meetings and intense discussions, It was a tiring day for Vijay. Generally, he prefers to have a peaceful late afternoon coffee but today he did not get time due to intense extended meetings. He would have preferred a coffee at the lounge but by the time he reached the airport, it was almost the time to board the flight.

The flight duration was small but he imagined having peaceful coffee and moments. Inflight services started but by the time they reached near him, the captain announced to prepare for landing. Air hostess asked him if he wanted something ? Just a coffee, he said. She picked the hot water jar and realised that water was over, so she apologised and told him that she would be back.

Vijay waited for few minutes but she never came back. Slightly upset, he asked another air hostess, who was passing by and she re-assured him that she would be back soon. 

Nobody came and angrily, he called for in-flight services. Another air hostess came running and asked, how can she help. Already frustrated, Vijay asked for his coffee. She looked at her watch, then front side of the plane and rushed to get a cup of coffee. ‘I am sorry for the delay and this coffee is not hot’ she said. He looked at her and took coffee and said thank you. She rushed back as the plane started descending. 

He hates warm coffee but finally he was able to get his coffee after a long day and struggle in a descending plane.

While going out of the plane, he saw the hostess who gave him coffee and said ‘thank you’. She smiled back and said ‘ I am sorry for the delay’.
